I’m Charlotte. I’m a law student from Dundee and I’m doing a Summer Internship here at the Scottish Child Law Centre. I am now approaching the end of what has been a very interesting and insightful first week.
My main task this week has been helping to create a database of cases on various aspects of child law. I’ve been doing this with use of Excel, which I’m just about managing to get my head around. Hopefully, I will be an expert by the end of the month! I have also been helping out with general office jobs and even got to sit in on some training, which I found really interesting. I’ve learnt a lot already and everyone here is really nice. I’m certainly looking forward to the remainder of my time here and hope I can do my best to help the Centre out, particular as the work they do here is invaluable.
